In 2019, I customized a "Roll Conts" t-shirt (short for Continentals, the Hamilton College mascot) online. When I wore it around campus, many students asked where I got it, which led me to start customizing shirts for friends and teammates. In the summer of 2020, a sorority on campus approached me about collaborating on a fundraiser to sell my original "Roll Conts" design. We raised over $4,000 for a COVID relief fund in Clinton, New York. Inspired by the success, I founded The Roll Collab, with a mission to sell unique Continental spirit apparel for the Hamilton College community. From students and faculty to alumni, fans, and family members, the brand quickly gained widespread popularity across campus and beyond. I began collaborating with student artists to bring their designs to life, which was an exciting way to connect with my classmates and showcase their art in a tangible, real-world way. Throughout the process, I learned a great deal about apparel production, from ideation to execution. I purchased a heat press and, through a lot of trial and error, learned the art of screen printing. I also managed the brand's marketing, sales, customer service, fulfillment and finances. Below, you'll find an archive of the brand:
